Greece had always been on the top of my travel wishlist. The wish got fulfilled past summer when we packed our bags and left to enjoy the Greek summer. It wasn’t an impromptu trip, a lot of research went in deciding the places to visit and the hotels to stay at. I being a complete sucker for such things, read almost every possible blog/ travelogue on Greece, saw numerous videos on Youtube and asked several people for recommendations. After this exhaustive research, we chose our destinations and hotels to stay at. I will be splitting up the Greece travelogue into different sections according to the destinations.
In this post I would like to share my experience of staying at the Mykonos Pantheon Luxury Suites and Apartments . All the opinions and comments are my own, I will be very honest about them. Hope you enjoy reading 🙂
Location
These luxury suites and apartments are located in Kalo Livadi, Mykonos. The location is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It is pretty distant from the main town and the port, so it becomes a little heavy on pocket to take a cab to the hotel. But besides that, there are so many perks associated with its location that you would certainly ignore the distance. Plus, when you are going to a new place, it is always better to explore as far as you can. Atleast I do so!

It is super close to two of the most amazing beaches in Mykonos – Kalo Livadi and Kalafatis beach. A beautiful village of Ano Mera where you can find some authentic Greek Taverns is also closeby. I would suggest that you rent a car to explore Mykonos at your own pace.

The Property
The property comprises of beautiful sugar cube styled suites which are built in cycladic style of architecture. There are a total of 16 such suites. There are super luxurious suites with private swimming pool too.

And, the view from each door, window and balcony was simply……. breathtaking!!!

The view from the pool area. There is a small port situated close to the hotel for small ferries. You can see cruise ships sailing along and halting at this place at night. It all looks very beautiful. If you have to stay here for one reason..that would be the view, view , view and the View!

A dip in the infinity pool was on my bucketlist, and it seemed magical. It appears like you are taking a dip in the Mediterranean sea. The property has one of the best pools.
The restaurant and bar is just close to the pool area. There are atleast two staff persons at every point of time to help you with anything you need.

What I liked about Mykonos Pantheon Luxury Suites and Apartments:
- Serene and unwatchable views… unhindered by any chaos and human interventions. You can enjoy your private time in the lap of nature
- Location: away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd of the main town
- Stone throw away from Kalo Livadi beach and Kalafatis beach
- Very cooperative and helping staff: This needs a special mention as the staff of the hotel helped us in finding our camera which we forgot in the taxi (you can imagine our plight!). They helped us arrange for the rental car. The owner too was a sweet and gentle guy who interacted with us to know if we need anything
- One of the best infinity pools with adjoining bar
- It is a perfect romantic getaway for couples
What I did not like much :
- Limited range of food options available at the restaurant. We used to go out for the lunch and dinner while we explored the island. Breakfasts are good though!
Will I recommend it to others?
Yes, a definite yes! I think it is a perfect Greek romantic getaway destination.
